Trust Student Council

Our trust student council is a wonderful opportunity for students to come together to discuss our trust values and how we can embed those across the schools.  It's an initiative that we are really proud of.

The student council meets three times per academic year.  The meetings allow students to share their experiences of school life with their peers, and discuss the ways in which they can work together.  With the support of Mr Keegan, Head of School at Altrincham College, the students have come up with a number of actions which seek to embed the trust’s values, such as an inter-school style Olympic Games in which both schools can compete, and a fundraising initiative for a nominated trust charity which serves both school communities.

"The student council allows us to focus on what we want to improve, both together and independently."

Head Girl, Reddish Vale High School.

" The student council is about the children being able to be heard. It's their trust and we want to do what's best for them."

Mrs Knowles, Assistant Headteacher, Reddish Vale High School
